James and Dorothy have been serving in Missionary Care since returning from Hungary where they served for three years. They came home in 2010, whereupon they were invited to serve in Missionary Care. They have been doing this for the past nine years, and have had opportunities to go to several countries to minister to their missionaries whenever there has been a need.

The majority of their work is keeping in touch with their 80 plus missionaries. They encourage their missionaries to send in prayer requests for a monthly prayer meeting which they title AWAKE which James leads. James and Dorothy believe it is important for their missionaries who have gone overseas to still feel connected and loved by their home church and they encourage the missionaries to communicate with them through newsletters and Facebook.

Their missionary care duties also include one-on-one discipleship and biblical encouragement.
