Manuel grew up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He trusted in Christ as a teenager, and felt a call to be a minister. Jenna was born and raised in Wakarusa, Indiana and made a profession of faith at a young age. Manuel and Jenna met while attending Northland International University. They both graduated (Manuel in 2009, Jenna in 2010) with Bible degrees and married in 2011. They lived for ten years in Joliet, Illinois and ministered at Gospel Life Church (2010-2013) and Iglesia Camino al Cielo (2013-August, 2020) where Manuel pastored and ministered in the latino community. Manuel and Jenna have four children: Josue, Noemi, Natan, and Salome. In July, 2019 the Lord rekindled Manuel's desire to return and serve in his homeland, the Dominican Republic. The Sanchez family was sent out to the DR by Gospel Hope Church (Atlanta, GA) in partnership with the Summit Church (RDU, NC).
